your perfect saturday awaits

It’s safe to say that 2020 looks nothing like what we envisioned. With the spread of COVID-19, we’ve grown accustomed to social distancing and new regulations. However, cities have started to reopen and we’re able to make weekend plans once again. Read on to find out how to plan the perfect Saturday in Nashville in the midst of this pandemic.

Step 1: Be Prepared

First, you’ll need to make sure that you have everything you need to venture out of your house. Masks have become the norm not only in Nashville – but across the country. You can visit our online store to order one of our Big Machine Vodka masks so that you’re prepared. Additionally, it’s important to have sanitizer with you at all times – check out the various Big Machine Hand Sanitizer bottle sizes and packages that we have available on our website. Lastly, if you are spending time with friends, make sure you’ve communicated about where you have traveled and where you are comfortable going that day.

Step 2: Head to the Nashville Farmers’ Market

We recommend you start your Saturday with a Nashville staple – the Nashville Farmers’ Market! The Nashville Farmers’ Market features fresh, seasonal produce as well as vendors selling homemade pasta, candles, and more. For a complete list of vendors, you can visit their website. The Nashville Farmers’ Market is the perfect way to start your Saturday by getting some fresh air and supporting local businesses.

Step 3: Grab Your Furry Friend and Hit the Park!

After you visit the farmers’ market, grab your dog (or your friend with a dog) and head on over to Fair Dog Park in Berry Hill to continue your morning outside. While you’re there, check out our new billboard for the Big Machine Distillery & Tavern, located a few miles down the road from the dog park at 2824 Bransford Avenue. After playing in the park for a while, you and your dog will probably need something to drink –  make sure you head down the street to the Big Machine Distillery & Tavern!

Step 4: Lunch & Live Music at the Big Machine Distillery & Tavern!

If you haven’t already heard, the Big Machine Distillery & Tavern is the perfect spot to bring your dog. With two dog-friendly patios and dog merchandise available for purchase, we have everything you and your dog need to have a great afternoon. While at the Big Machine Distillery & Tavern, you can enjoy an amazing menu that features a wide variety of burgers, salads, and delicious appetizers including loaded nachos, pretzel bites, and more. We also have a cocktail menu featuring Big Machine Distillery spirits as well as Big Machine Beer.  After lunch, make sure you stick around to enjoy our live music – we have some amazing artists perform at the Big Machine Tavern & Distillery every weekend!

Step 5: Tour the Country Music Hall of Fame

If you’re looking to change up your usual Saturday routine, play tourist for the day and visit one of Nashville’s most iconic landmarks: The Country Music Hall of Fame! Your ticket includes a guided tour of RCA Studio B, Hatch Show Print, and a self-guided tour of the museum which features rotating exhibits. It’s also important to note that the Country Music Hall of Fame has taken several precautions in light of the pandemic including a requirement for guests to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Step 6: Finish Your Day at the Big Machine Brewery & Distillery!

Since you’ll already be downtown at the Country Music Hall of Fame, head a few blocks over to the Big Machine Brewery & Distillery, located on 3rd Avenue next to FGL House. This location features a menu of cocktails made with Big Machine spirits, our world-famous Big Machine Vodka lemonade slushies,  and Big Machine Beer. If you need a bite to eat, you can also enjoy our light food menu including sandwiches and appetizers. The Big Machine Brewery & Distillery also features two levels with bar as well as lounge seating. If you’re looking for a quality distillery experience, look no further than our downtown location!

Though COVID-19 has brought many changes, Nashville is still a thriving city with a great community – we’re thrilled to be a part of it. If you stop by either of our locations, make sure you tag us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook! We can’t wait to see you there.
