You mean I don't have to drink the last drop?

While 2020 has thrown a lot our way, Big Machine Vodka was never too far out of reach to help us get through the hard times. Except now there might be a few bottles sitting on the bar that have that little bit of vodka left, yet they just don’t feel like they have an ample amount for a good cocktail or two. As good as all those bottles of Big Machine look adorning your bar cart, you do need to make room for more full bottles!

So, what to do?

Well, we dove into our own stash of partial-filled bottles and came up with some ways you can use your leftover Big Machine Vodka to get ready for your holiday festivities!

Make your home smell fresh and clean:

Everyone likes a room that smells fresh, especially when you’re trapped in the kitchen with your great aunt. Keep your guests’ noses happy with a Big Machine Vodka room diffuser. Just mix Big Machine Vodka with essential and mineral oils of your choice (my personal favorites are Tea Tree and Lavender). Pick out your favorite container and add some reeds or paper straws to diffuse the scent!

Homemade vanilla extract to sweeten up your baking… or your drinking:

Baking for your friends and family is the best! Save time by making your own vanilla extract. All you need is 6 vanilla beans and 1 cup of vodka (if combining all those partial bottles doesn’t make up that cup, we think this use warrants opening up and using part of one of your new bottles!). Slice your vanilla beans lengthwise down the middle, place in an 8oz jar and cover with Big Machine Vodka. Allow to sit for at least two months (OK, so… it will be a for your post-New Year’s parties).

Remove stickers with ease:

We got really creative when we had to remove a sticker from our office mini fridge. Here’s a great way to give your nails a break! No more scratching off every sticky piece of a pesky price tag or sticker by hand – only to still see the remaining gummy residue. First, grab a Big Machine shot glass, and fill it up. Then, drink the bulk of the shot (duh). Then dip a cotton swab into the little bit of remaining vodka, and swab it onto any sticky mess and watch it breakdown under the boozy goodness of Big Machine Vodka.

Unsightly stains are a no go with family in town:

Yes, we all know red wine is good, but vodka is better! Why? Well, less calories of course, and, with Big Machine Vodka, less chance of headache because of how we distill it. But, back to the stains… not only does vodka not leave a stain behind it also may remove them. If your couch or pillows have seen a smudge of lipstick or a few drops of red wine, test a small unseen area of your pillow, couch, blouse, etc., dab a little bit of Big Machine Vodka on it to make sure it doesn’t discolor the fabric. Once you’ve seen it’s OK, then apply the vodka to the stain and watch it dissolve! You don’t even need to scrub.

Now it’s time to put the turkey in the oven and restock your bar with a case of Big Machine Vodka!

Happy Holidays and don’t forget to check out our website: www.bigmachinevodka.com to find a store near you!
