A Word About 3rd Avenue

On any given night of the week, if you walk down 3rd Avenue in Nashville, you’ll have a tough time passing by the Big Machine Brewery & Distillery without wandering in. The first thing that hits you is the A-Frame on the sidewalk sign luring you in with the offer of a free sample of our now-becoming World Famous Frozen Vodka Lemonade Slushies. With its welcoming marquee sign out front, grandiose bar, and rustic but cozy interior, there’s no question that our tasting room is not be missed when visiting lower Broadway! While we have our original distillery in Lynnville, TN and have just opened our new location in Berry Hill, I wanted to dedicate this month to our 3rd Ave brewery and distillery and share some exciting news for this location.

At Big Machine Distillery, we like to think that the quality of our spirits set us apart from our competitors – but you don’t have to take my word for it! At our 3rd Avenue distillery and tasting room, you can enjoy a wide variety of cocktails made with our own hand-crafted spirits and beers. In addition to more traditional options, visitors can also order cocktails unique to the Big Machine brand such as our Vodka Lemonade Slushies (also available in other rotating flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and blue raspberry) as well as our Big Machine Mule which can be ordered in sharable sizes.

In addition to our cocktail menu, no Nashville venue is complete without entertainment. The Big Machine Distillery & Tasting Room is no different. You can enjoy authentic Nashville entertainment featuring local artist performances and writers’ rounds, which take place almost every night of the week. If you prefer a more active experience, you can sign up for a distillery tour which features samples of all of our spirits. You can also take home a piece of the distillery experience with our “Bottle Your Own” option which allows visitors to put the finishing touches on their own special edition bottle of vodka.

As we look to 2020, we have some exciting projects for the Big Machine Distillery on the horizon. While our reputation has been founded on our spirits, with the launch of Big Machine Brewery we now look forward to serving you our very own beers including the Big Machine Nashville IPA, Big Machine Light Beer, and Big Machine Cider. Additionally, we are no longer a destination just for drinks! We also serve a variety of pizzas from our new Nashville-based partner, Coco’s Italian Market. In addition to our menu expansion, our distillery has received a makeover of its own. In the past, the upper level of our distillery was similar to the downstairs, it is now The Lounge @122, featuring a comfortable environment for dining and looking out over the hustle and bustle of 3rd Ave. The space is also available for private events!
