Big Machine Vodka Gives Back In Indy
If you haven’t already heard, Big Machine Vodka is now offering hand sanitizer in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, this weekend fans can tune in to the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Big Machine Records live on NBC at 4PM EST on July 5th. To kick off this exciting week, we partnered with our friends at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) and our Big Machine Vodka driver and dear friend, Tony Kanaan, to make a donation of hand sanitizer to The Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.
Throughout the past few months, we’ve donated sanitizer to local organizations as well as first responders. As the folks at IMS and Tony Kanaan have a connection to The Riley Hospital for Children, we were thrilled to be able to donate sanitizer to this incredible organization as well. President and CEO of Big Machine Label Group and owner of Big Machine Vodka Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Vodka EVP Mark Borchetta, driver Tony Kanaan, and driver Jade Buford personally delivered over 2000 bottles of sanitizer to the hospital. The sanitizer we donated is not only high quality, but also features special edition labels with some bottles displaying co-branding between Big Machine Distillery and IMS and the rest featuring the branding of Big Machine Distillery and Tony Kanaan.
Our EVP, Mark Borchetta, explained our commitment to serving our community. He stated, “At Big Machine we always take our obligation to give back and help others very seriously. Right now, during today’s unprecedented challenging times, the well-being of our future is top of mind. That means our children. So, to be in a position to help the children who are struggling the most right now, was humbling to say the least.”
