A “Bigger” Big Machine Bloody Mary

When the Big Machine Vodka sodas went down a little too easily on Friday night, what else do you drink on Saturday morning to get you ready for your weekend plans or watch the game with your buddies? A “Bigger” Big Machine Bloody of course!

No one really knows when the cocktail was created, some stories date this drink back to the 1920s. Either way, we’re sure glad to have this timeless cocktail with an endless list of possibilities. It’s said that a good Bloody Mary is a balance of savory, spicy, sour, spirit and umami. Traditionally made with a combination of tomato juice, hot sauce, lemon juice, vodka and Worcestershire sauce and while we think it’s good…why not make it better? The old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” doesn’t apply here!

We wanted to deliver a Bloody Mary that gives you bar food vibe, mixed with a spicy cocktail that helps with that Saturday morning fog all in one. Using our very own Nashville Hot Bloody Mary Mix and of course our vodka, we already have the perfect Bloody Mary blend and all we need is our variety of loaded toppings. First, we dug into our greasy food stockpile and picked out the perfect Saturday foods. We decided on chicken tenders, onion rings, and tater tots. After getting them on skewers, we dove into our “sides”. Once everything was chopped and skewered, it was time to mix our cocktail and get to work.

Tater tots

Onion Rings

Queen Olives

Bacon Wrapped Queen Olives

Pickled Okra

Pickle Spear

Pickle Slices

Chicken tender

Bacon

Lemon wedge

Lime wedge

Tajin
