Big Machine Dream Team

January 19th was an exciting day for racing as Scott Borchetta, the President & CEO of Big Machine Distillery & CEO/Founder of Big Machine Label Group, announced the addition of another venture to the brand, which is the formation of Big Machine Racing Team. The team’s first foray into professional motorsports will be to field the number 48 NASCAR Xfinity Series car for the 2021 season. NASCAR driver Danny Bohn will be in the cockpit for the season opener on February 13th on the high-banked oval at Daytona International Speedway, but Nashville’s Jade Buford will take over as driver for the remainder of the season, starting on Daytona’s road course event on February 20th. Jade is known for his wins at tracks such as Sebring International Raceway and Watkins Glen, as well as fastest qualifier on the Daytona road course. Last year, Jade finished seventh in the Xfinity Series race on Charlotte’s “Roval” course which is a blend of an oval and road course. Both Bohn and Buford will be racing in a Chevrolet Camaro branded with Big Machine Vodka’s various brands, including a new product the distillery will be launching in April. So stay tuned!
