Big Machine Winter Old Fashion

Let us set the scene for you: 

it’s the middle of December and you’re in a cabin with your loved ones sitting around the fire watching nostalgic holiday movies, bringing back sweet holiday memories from your childhood. But it seems something is missing. Now that you’re a “grown-up,” that missing something is a Winter Old Fashion made with Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey. This classic cocktail also gets a facelift by adding a specialty cinnamon rosemary simple sugar that you can make at home. 2 oz Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey

⅕ oz Cinnamon Orange Rosemary Simple*

2 dashes of Bitters

 Pour the Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey, cinnamon orange rosemary simple, and bitters into a rocks glass with ice, stir, garnish with a fresh orange peel, and enjoy! 

*Zest of 2 oranges

5 Cinnamon Stick

4 Rosemary Sprigs

2 cups Turbinado or Sugar

2 cups Water

Bring to a boil together over medium heat, then strain out the ingredients, and chill overnight
